The EXCELSIOR razor, with its patented lock and release mechanism, is hand cast in our own foundry.  These castings are SOLID BRASS, not cheap die cast zinc.  It is then hand polished and buffed, then precision laser engraved to a uniform depth of .002 of an inch to create a diamond pattern that will give you a firm yet comfortable non-slip grip.  Next it is NICKEL plated to give you a lifetime of corrosion resistance and beauty.  Lastly we apply a final polish and buff to achieve the most lustrous shine.
