These blades are ground from Historic blanks (about 50 years old) the aging adds to the stability of the steel, in this country we refer to this process as martinizing if it is done artificially during the heat treating process; or just plain aging if it is done the natural way as these have been.  The result is characterized by steel having the purest quality and a very fine microstructure and stability.  This razor is extremely hollow ground, and is suitable therefore to give especially gentle shaves.

Every Wacker razor meets or exceeds competitor’s standards.  The blank is distinguished by use of the purest quality homogeneous steel , which is very fine in texture and demonstrates a uniform and consistent grain pattern.  In its preparation, this blank went through an extraordinary and unique heat treating & tempering process which affords this blade a very uniform and consistent interface capability.
