Pegasus II Premium Horsehide & Suede Razor Strop

These strops are of the finest quality, the hanger is cast in our own foundry from solid brass and nickel plated, then buffed to a lustrous finish. The strop is a full 3"(76mm) wide x 30"(762mm) long. This width allows you to use straight strokes with no need for the X pattern stroke, although you can if you prefer; and the longer length will allow you to take fewer laps. This is a definite plus in your daily maintenance routine.

THE HANGER RING OPENS TO SNAP AROUND ANY TOWEL ROD, PIPE, BAR, HOOK, HANDLE OR DOOR KNOB, AND WILL SPIN 360 deg.,  AS WELL AS  TIP SIDE TO SIDE.

Each strop consists of 2 pieces and five configurations are available. 

Premium Horsehide:  Bark Tanned ~ The standard for strops for over 150 years ~ fast consistent stropping surface with excellent results.

This is a natural material, it is the skin of a horse, and occasionally will have some marks. These are often scars from rubbing up against a barbwire fence, or may be wrinkles from age just like our skin. When it is in un-dyed neutral Russet color these mark are visible, in the darker tannage they are not.

They do not affect the performance of the strop in any way and are your guarantee that it is real horse hide!

Suede: Genuine horsehide suede, tougher and stronger ~ becomes very aggressive when diamond spray or Chromium Oxide is applied.

These strops are tanned specially for us by Horween to the same formulation as were the strops in 1900.

These strops far exceed any other on the market bar none and will enhance any fine razors edge.
