FINEST DAMASCUS STEEL ANYWHERE
The blank is distinguished by use of the purest quality homogeneous steel, which is very fine in texture and demonstrates a uniform and consistent grain pattern. During preparation, this blank went through an extraordinary and unique heat treating & tempering process which affords this blade a very uniform and consistent interface capability. The “DAMAST68” is designed for the seasoned long time wet shaver who is well versed in the art of straight razor shaving. However, it is also a good choice for the beginner due to it’s excellent balance and handling abilities.
All Wacker razors are made according to the old proven method, “HANDMADE”.

I only had this razor for a short time; however, to shave with it is a pure joy. After the shave, my face is glass. It is also a work of art with the way the Damascus pattern is formulated (a wild pattern). I can't comment on the durability of the edge, I haven't had it long enough to make an evaluation of it, but from the forums it appears that it has the potential to last longer that a normal blade. Its nice to mix-up ones arsenal of razors.
